Layers of emotion Painting

Im a self taught artist experiencing different styles. Whenever im in front of a plain canvas I let myself be inspired by the things a certain song can make me feel at a moment. I listen to the lyrics nonstop while I paint and I try to take that personal emotion and put it into a sight, a movement, a skin tone, a color. Im mostly inspired by the work of some artist like VOKA, Nielly Francoise, Peter Terrin, Thomas Saliot and Jimmy Law though I dont like to be imprisoned in one style. I just enjoy the freedom and power I feel while working with knives and I focus on creating expressive portraits and nudes.
