Lazy River Sunday Painting

Lazy River Sunday is the first painting in my series of abstract artworks inspired by my love of water and reflections. Lazy River Sunday was created using bold reds with blues and whites. It was my intention that the reds would all but disappear over the canvas edge, but often a difficult pour will have surprising results when working with abstract art and as I do in all my paintings, in order to create a lasting visual impression, hours of practice are needed to maintain a pleasing look.
