Legends of the Arabian Desert is one of Anna's Arabian series paintings. Golden sunsets and starry nights are the eternal silent witnesses of lives of those living in the sands. And when the humans are gone the sky will still kiss the desert sands. And the wind will blow away the memories… Anna Wyborn is a Russian-born artist based in UAE. She started painting professionally in her thirties. She chose silk as her main medium. Yet the artist explores other mediums as well. “It fascinates me how colors flow on the silk. It’s unpredictable, magical and ever-changing. That’s what creates the beauty of painting on silk”. And of course living in UAE for 20 years she was influenced by the local culture and atmosphere a lot.
