From an early age, Jacqueline was inspired by colours and shapes she discovered in the woods where she could often be found. Also the feel of the paintbrush in her hand and the sound of the bristles on the canvas, where the shaping of her adventures were expressed explosively and colourfully in her art, made her passion for making art come alive. Over the years, her art has become a reflection of her love for nature’s hidden treasures. Crystals and stones found from the earth’s surface, as well as rocks formed from meteorite impacts. The natural source materials from which all life is created. She draws her inspiration from life itself, with nature as her source, from which special wall ornaments, tables and ambient objects may be created. The geode art Jacqueline creates are like living works of art. They are particularly energetic creations in which the vibrational frequency of the processed gemstones and crystals makes a positive contribution to the space in which the artworks are placed. In each work of art she writes a message with a loving intention, as words are also made up of frequencies and serve as the basis for the geodes. The works of art created by Jacqueline are then not only beautiful to look at, but also made to inspire and experience! The effects of seven layers of resin fluidly finding their way onto a base of wood, canvas or slate, combined with mica powder, ecoline, glitter and acrylic paint. Strong pigments from both herbs, coffee and other natural materials also add depth to her art, making the artworks resemble natural agate and gemstone geodes. In this creation process, she leaves the play of colours to the mix of pigments that determine the composition in the geode during the hardening process of the resin. Working with purely natural materials is therefore of great importance to her. You will not find imitation crystals made of glass or plastic in her art. From her love for crystals and gemstones, she matches raw materials such as copper fiber, copper powder, but also quartz powder and other pulverized gemstones. She also uses mineral types such as shungite, selenite, white beach sand and Himalayan salt. The interplay of the rough stone and crystal structure with the richly layered colours make her geodes look balanced and powerful and beautiful eye-catchers for the home and workplace.
