About The Artwork
This work is the first of a serie about beach activities. My original idea was to mix figuration and abstraction on a same painting (like some surrealism works) using plenty of colors and using luminous colors and ethnic like patterns. The work is divided in two parts separated by the wave. The girls (bathers and swimmers) are located in the top part while the men stay onto the beach (bottom part). Sète is the place (south of France) where this work was done.
