Playing, serious play in the studio, playing as children do. Focused and serious play. I choose the color pallet, decide the way to start the work but then it is a collaboration with the canvas making a mark, pouring and pulling the paint, and then listening to see what the painting wants.

Olive Green Anna (Anna Baer) lives and works in Heidelberg, Germany. She has exhibited in solo exhibitions at Bryan Oliver Gallery, (Spokane, WA, USA) and Zeitgenießische Gallery, (Heidelberg, Germany). Her numerous exhibitions and residencies include Metropolink Urban Art Festival (Heidelberg, Germany) and Berlin Art Institute (Berlin, Germany). She holds a Masters in Teaching (Arts) and a BA in Fine Arts from Whitworth University (Spokane WA, USA). Anna has held art teaching positions at Heidelberg International School, (Heidelberg, Germany), and North Central High School (Spokane, WA, USA). She is the recipient of the 2009 and 2008 Art Talent Award at Whitworth University (Spokane, WA, USA).
