A young girl in a red dress stands on a rocky beach, staring out at the ocean. She's holding a string attached to a giant boulder that is floating above her. The concept of something floating that never actually could intrigued me - a young girl holding a balloon is where I began but knew I had an interesting concept when I switched the balloon out with a giant boulder. Putting the setting on a rocky beach seemed to make perfect sense!
