About The Artwork
This artwork explores the multiple limitation of thinking of human beings, the darkness within all of us. Made through a combination of techniques, from the collage of different materials, to the use of oil paints and enamels, it seeks to convey a sense of imprisonment, rawness and vulnerability. 'Limitation of Human Thought' reflects the idea that our thinking is imprisoned and broken in some way, with scars and wounds that we carry with us throughout our lives. But there is also strength and resilience in this prison. The technique of using color also serves as a metaphor for human creativity which is imprinted in us and shapes us.
