About The Artwork
I'm friends with a local photographer who loves capturing our rural county. This is an old family farm in Dickson County that she photographed a few years ago. I loved the image and composition and she graciously gave me permission to paint it using her photo as reference, I especially like enjoyed the earthy colors of mid-autumn as the muted hues really begin taking center stage. It makes me think of harvest, flannel, and cooler days.
