Lollipop Ladies: A Sweet Portrayal (Series 1 of 2) Painting

20,830 handmade of colored painted dots. I have constantly explored and studied different painting techniques. It was in discovering Neo Impressionism’s pointillism, typical of the French painter Seurat, that I adopted this technique an adapted it, creating and defining my own style. My newly found technique can be referred to as “Contemporary Pop Art Pointillism.” Each 2D or 3D art piece contains sometimes up to up 50,000 dots. These works of art are unique, completely handmade or painted free-style with my personal Contemporary Pop Art Pointillism technique applied to my artwork. My finished “Contemporary Pop Art Pointillism” can take up to 6 months to be completed. By my innovative technique I have given my subject matters a surreal interpretation that I feel leads the eyes of the observer to the open door of their imagination.
