Alex is an English artist currently residing in London - Having studied art and design throughout school, from an early stage was inspired by artists who combined both realist and figurative aspects. Drawn to the interaction between figures and they themselves with their surroundings - From the interest in the interaction with surroundings a love of more abstract work has been realised and that of the artists own interaction with the surroundings - From here putting the artists own reactions to their feelings and senses into the brush strokes and marks that are being made - Working mainly with acrylics the works are mostly started on location or based on photography taken by Alex while on location.
