Lost Corner Run Painting

I started off painting an incident that happened during a Motogp race where a racer is running towards the viewer after his crash. During my process I tend to forgot about the subject matter and allow my paint to drift off into a non subjective consciousness.The end result is very subject non subjective piece. My hopes for this piece for the viewer is to allow any type of reaction to occur. But I do definitely want a connection to happen. Hopefully this will spark a bond with the viewer which acts as art therapy. The choice of canvas was too emulate a consistent store bought product. When I was younger I looked at magazines for inspiration for skateboarding , surfing , etc. The canvas represents the magazines as a store bought product and the standard size of 8 1/2 x 11 in. Now as an older adult I can express my subconscious feelings in subjects that inspire me today. I realize if I let go of all tendencies and allow myself to paint spontaneously within a certain perimeter. Then I have pushed myself over the threshold of experimentation.Keeping it progressive. I like that.
