Love from Cornell Painting

This is a funny oeuvre. I painted it to have joy for one of these weekends. The carnations were painted using the wet-on-wet technique first, and then I applied some details to reinforce the shadows between the petals. Red is the symbol of love and it is the brand color from the place where I studied, Cornell University. Everything we do comes from the deep heart desire to help others in our way to help ourselves. We believe that pure love expresses itself by sharing and demonstrating it on our own example. Cornell University is a private Ivy League and statutory land-grant research university in Ithaca, New York. Founded in 1865 by Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson White, it has consistently been ranked among the top universities in the world by major educational publications. I was able to study at Cornell, only because I received a reward, a Fulbright scholarship through the American Embassy in El Salvador.
