As an intuitive artist, I try not to think to much about the shapes I create I just let them flow out of me , I’m always drawn to particular colors , but the texture is a thick medium that I can use to smooth on. I create a sculpture like shape that I feel moves me . I love to be in the moment taking risks , moving through emotions and being able to translate them in a way that will move the viewer. I feel there is a depth of beauty in the turquoise, a light in the silver , gold and copper, and a sexual depth in the black shapes .

Hope Zarro is originally from Woodstock New York . Being from a long line of artists as her father was a painter and father a hypnotherapist . Her mother a painter and sculptor. Her grandfather a famous classical pianist . She has been painting and creating art since She was a child, dipping in all different aspects of the art world, it was clear to her that there was no other life for her than the alchemy of art . She attended attended the Juilliard school in New York City, and was a hair and make up artist for 27 years working in high fashion movies and television. She was deep in her career creating beauty on peoples faces and hair, on and off camera in Los Angeles for 15 years . She decided to start studying at the Klein Academy of Art in West Los Angeles and quickly found that her painting was advancing quickly and she was falling in love with yet a completely different way of using a brush. Hope advanced from make up brushes quickly to pop art, and that transitioned to large Abstract pieces . Her inspiration for art comes from my daily life that she lives in Los Angeles and the places she has traveled around the world . She finds herself inspired by other peoples artworks and what drives and inspires them. She is always collecting textures color combinations and images in her mind for my next painting, she finds that risk-taking in her art is where her passion is, going into the unknown, walking through any fear, and taking risks. Hope finds being most comfortable in being uncomfortable. Her greatest pieces come from total risk taking ,never wonder if what She doing will work , she just goes with the wonder of it . Hope finds herself in the mystery of it not knowing what the end result will be . She knows that life is coming onto the canvas that will translate to someone as happiness, depth , beauty, love and mystery. Hope has her painting studio in Los Angeles and a current exhibition at The Hugo Rivera Gallery in Laguna Beach CA .
