Transitions and other transformations are among my recurring themes when it comes to painting the projections of my mind when I reinvent nature. In this very contrasting canvas reigns like a cold fusion. The sky pours down on earth in a torrent of light, making its way through the rough edges of the earth that it helps to form. Oil-based paint has been used to treat the fades between the sky and the shapes on the horizon and to create the effects of light on the ground thanks to a structural freeze.
