Lust in Blue Painting

Lust in Blue, original oil painting by Tang Hai Guo (2012) Tang painted two large paintings for this small series about lust: but it is the lust for material things, not for sex, per se.  The first in the series of two was done in red.  This one was done in blue, and we personally like it this way best. The seductive women, therefore, are mere window dressing, in this piece.  They represent, only, the seductive power that luxury goods, like those woven into the background, have, and hte lsut is so great, these days, that all subtlety has gone by the wayside.  The piggishness has reached an apex, in modern Chinese society.
