Machine Without a Purpose Painting

I am a 55 year old painter who lives in Cathedral City, California. I learned to paint in South Africa when I was living and working in Cape Town--my professors were Jill Trappler, Paul Birchall, and Lynne Lomofsky. My style tends toward German expressionism but has also veered towards abstraction and surrealism and the last couple of years. I'm very influenced by Kandinsky, Paul Klee, the Russian avant-garde, and cubism. I also work as a therapist and often will use art therapy as a modality in session with clients.
