19th century Madame born in Paris. So young you witnessed the dark side of life. Used by a mother as a lure and mistress by many. The brothel was your first talent to fill your nights. Ambitions for stardom weighed heavily on your path. You sold yourself too easy to reach your dreams. Mundane fortunes and bodily feasts carried you along. Adventures many were cast into the stream. Tormenting struggles and arduous love became your way of life. You learned to manipulate with a single breath. A renowned actress and designer emerged from the struggle. Only to end in a strange and untimely death. Copy of a painting by Giovanni Boldini of Madame lle. Lanthelme in 1907. I wanted to capture the essence of this famous painting and great work of art as the subject projects her elegance and splendor of the early 20th century. Frame not included.

PERSONAL Maria Esperanza considers herself a self-taught artist. She was born in Madrid. She currently resides in Ciudad Real. She is a university graduate. From a very young age she has always been committed to painting. She has been influenced by the famous painters: Claudio de Lorena, Constable, Velázquez, Sorolla and other contemporary artists. TECHNIQUE Maria Esperanza prefers water and figure themes inspired in nature, however she also likes diversity and paints many themes. She has her own way of painting acquired through practice over the years. She prefers to paint with the oil technique, but she also dominates pastel, watercolor and carbon. Her art can be defined as realistic always with a very personal style that is what characterizes her.
