Magic Hour III Painting

I am a professional artist based in beautiful south-east Ireland. Surrounded by the amazing natural beauty of Irish countryside scenery and numerous historical and archaeological sites I gain inspiration for my paintings from both my amazing surroundings as well as imagination, travel, the wonderful underwater wildlife, the North and South polar world scenery... I transform my impressions and memories into multi layered and often textured oil and mixed media paintings of Lyrical and Expressionist Abstract style. My intention is to bring vibrant and Zen-like works of art to my collectors' spaces to brighten them up. My paintings are very suitable for contemporary and minimalistic spaces and are an excellent addition to the contemporary design of a home, office or public spaces. I use only high-quality materials for creating my art: artists grade oils and acrylics, pigments, oil bars and pastels, modelling pastes, mixed media texture crystals and mica. Each one of my original works of art has been created carefully and through thorough planning of composition and main elements combined with an intuitive process that I came up with as a result of my Art Therapy course experiences. ​ ​
