MAGICAL FOREST RAMBLE: Following the White Rabbit Painting

The memories of a morning in 2007 in a wooded area near Hamburg, when Joaquin took his dog for a walk in the woods. The sun was just rising when he and his blond Labrador went for a walk in the woods. Although spring had already begun and green leaves were sprouting from the branches of the trees, the mossy green ground of the forest was still covered in a light layer of snow. It looked like a fairytale and this impression was reinforced by the wondrous light of the sunrise. But not only that. His dog, who had a rather moderate hunting instinct, seemed to have picked up a scent. Joaquin decided to let his dog run and follow him. After a while, he noticed that his dog seemed to be following a white animal. Something white kept appearing in front of them. However, it was faster than his dog. Whenever his dog reached a particular spot, it appeared somewhere else. His dog was so excited that he decided to abandon the walk. Joaquin called his dog, praised and stroked him. When the two of them turned around to make their way back, they couldn't believe their eyes. A few meters away, a large white rabbit was sitting in the middle of the forest path and looking at them. At that moment, Joaquin noticed that his dog wasn't barking. He looked at his dog, while it looked back questioningly. Then their eyes went back to the hare, but it had suddenly disappeared ... Although Joaquin and his faithful companion still went for frequent walks in this forest, they never saw the white hare again, even though they both probably hoped for it again and again. From this experience and the memories of his faithful companion († 2015), Joaquin painted this painting with the name: "MAGICAL FOREST RAMBLE: Following the White Rabbit"
