The Saudade series is inspired by the genre of Bossanova. If you're familiar with the music you'll know the feeling of love, movement and sweetness that it penetrates. I wanted to portray the nostalgia and emotions evoked but by also staying true to the current times. I often get lost in the music and when I do, I let my brush guide me on canvas.
