Изображенные на работах старые почтовые ящики, хранящие историю города и его людей, являются, своего рода порталами между внешним миром и их абонентами. Теперь, когда им на смену пришли электронные адреса, они стали памятниками уходящей эпохи. Как много сквозь них прошло надежд и переживаний! Но сейчас они бесследно исчезают, а сними уходит история многих жизней. Многочисленная еврейская община, некогда заселявшая Одессу, оставила в виде фамилий на ящиках свидетельство своего пребывания, уникальные почерки их обладателей, а вместе с ними и их характеры. Хитросплетение случайности и намерения отразилось на ящиках в виде трудно передаваемой фактуры и сложной цветовой палитры, наделяя их уникальной художественной ценностью. История этих фамилий запечатленая на почтовых ящиках, которые постепенно исчезает вместе с ними, но остается запечатленной на холстах.
