Bad Bunny it has been kind of aesthetics influence of the last two years. I think he has made a very good job as an artist specially after lockdown when he has release some beats full of quality. He has made a strong effort to go beyond the limits in a musical genre that was so defined by sexual and sexist boundaries. This specific picture I found it seems that shows on him exactly the mood that I try to get in some of my figurative paintings. He accentuates the emotion so much with his hands putting them on the sides of his faces what gives to him a much more dramatic expression. He took some references from classic art, exactly from the famous artwork "Skrik" by Edward Munch, where the pose of the figure it's quite similar. I find hard to believe that this similarity could be just a coincidence. He remade a new version of that painting, bringing out the contemporary aesthetics with his clothes and his sunglasses. I try to power up adding others contemporary objects like bunny ears (making honor to his artistic name) and the Social media heart (so important in everyones mind nowadays) On this collection, just by accident (I really had not a previous plan for the background) I ended up using a radial gradient for the background. That makes a ver nice contrast between the backside of the figure (which is very bright) and the edges of the painting (very dark tones). The bright light that surround the figure create the perfect contrast with the shadows of the body.

First contact was with Spray cans in my hometown, along with other artists from the province. Seduced by cultural diversity, I began to study Architecture in Catalonia. I focused on drawing as an expression tool. I enjoyed the possibilities and opportunities that take place in big european cities like Barcelona. Interested in traveling and to know new cultures, I have tried to learn constantly from others traditions and cultures so different that we can find both within Europe and in the rest of the world. "Art must be a guarantee of people's health." Art is considered a tool for change: to correct the alienation that people today suffer from the capitalist market. Because of the frenetic and dizzying rhythm of contemporary society.
