About The Artwork

Savitri in Hinduism is a princess, daughter of king Ashwapati. When Savitri married prince Satyavan, son poor king Dyumatsena, the sages predicted that Savitri live with her husband for one year and he will die. Savitri is very loved her husband and this prophecy did not stop her. Through year husband died and God of death Yama came for his soul to take to the kingdom of shadows. Savitri follows Yama and does not want to part with her husband forever despite requests Yama. And Yama, seeing Savitri's devotion and love, resurrects her husband and gives them a long and happy life. Mandala Lotus Savitri symbolizes omnipotence true, devoted love, able to bear any difficulties and win trials. I would really like this mandala Lotus Savitri gave people faith in "big and pure" love, supported in difficult moments of life and brought success and prosperity.

I was born, went to kindergarten, school, college in the USSR (since 1991 - Ukraine), the city of Cherkassy, where I live now. Yoga classes and sound recordings of satsangs by Robert Adams, an enlightened sage from the USA, had a great influence on my worldview. The desire to paint arose several years ago, which was the reason for attending an art school. However, the final choice of direction in art was formed thanks to yoga classes, studying the teachings and traditions of Buddhism, Hinduism. Inspiration comes as a result of meditative practices that allow you to feel the true foundations of the universe and arouse the desire to express these feelings on canvas, and the process itself takes place, as it were, without my "I". The style and techniques came true on their own: this is a mandala dot art painting, using canvas and acrylic paints. Thus, I did not have a direct teacher and am probably self-taught. Prizes, awards, exhibitions, collections --- still in the future. my Statement The style and techniques came true on their own: this is a mandala dot art painting, using canvas and acrylic paints. The subject matter of my work is the image of the mandala in a wide variety of incarnations. In Sanskrit, mandala means a circle, a sphere, a wheel, in the practices of Buddhism and Hinduism, a mystical diagram, a symbolic image of the universe. My works consist of an image of a mandala, as it seems to me, made of dots of different sizes and colors. As a rule, the image of each work appears spontaneously, under the influence of various factors, be it feelings and sensations arising during meditation, or sudden influx of figurative forms from nowhere. I would really like my works to help people to know their real "I", to open in themselves an endless universe of love and happiness, to feel the whole world in their palm.
