A great love has come into my life. It probably happens to each of us. But 5 years have passed and ... feelings have not faded. They have changed, they have become deeper. Then I decided to paint a picture of eternal love in symbols. Why mandarin ducks? Read on... Surely you know that mandarins used to be called nobles in China who had the right to wear beautiful and bright clothes. One of the legends just tells about such a nobleman who was married for a long time, but one day realized that there was no love left in his heart for his wife at all. Then he decided that they needed to separate, and his wife should return back to her parents' house. Thinking about it, he walked along the pond. And then the nobleman saw a pair of beautiful ducks with unusually bright plumage. They were so beautiful that he stopped to admire them. The ducks were so good together that looking at their happiness and the way they kiss with their beaks, he remembered the happiest days of his family life. The nobleman realized that love must be protected and preserved from adversity, problems and quarrels, and then happiness will always reign in the family. Realizing this, he returned home and did everything possible to regain the relationship that he had with his wife before. According to feng shui, mandarin ducks are not just a souvenir, but a real symbol of faithful and eternal love. In China, very often on the wedding day, such ducks are presented as a present, which then have to stand in the house of the young. According to Eastern philosophy, mandarin ducks are a talisman for married couples, helping them to maintain loyalty, love, passion and devotion towards each other. In addition, there is another meaning of this talisman. Such figures attract prosperity, happiness and harmony to the house. The painting is painted on rice paper "Cicada Wings" with mineral paints and ink, rolled on a dense base. The passepartout is made in the traditional Chinese style like silk with a jacquard pattern of a delicate olive color. The painting is framed in a beautiful Italian wooden frame. It is possible to buy without a frame in a roll. On request.
