ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In this work named "Manhattan World", I was inspired by images and memories lived in NYC. The arm raised of the iconic Statue of Liberty, the immigrants and even my beloved pastrami are reflected here, which took me longer to complete than the rest of my artworks – maybe due to the number of layers that are hidden now. Note: I work with the canvas unstretched on a wall, then I roll it up and deliver it on a tube to make the shipping fee more affordable. However, if you are interested in buying an already stretched canvas ready to hang, please let me know before placing the order, since the cost would be slightly higher. Painting: Acrylic and oil pastel on Canvas. Medium: Acrylic, Spray, oil pastel, oil stick, matte varnish.
