Tennyson inspired this work. His poem ulysses. Who and what are the same. Ive been working on themes for over ten years. This is part of the same stream of consciousness. I think I have one it doesn't change. I hope the viewer is ambivalent and makes irreverent comments. I like watercolour and admire turners watercolours. It is very fast and difficult to draw in watercolour as quickly as this with everything in the right place.
