Art Description

Painting: Acrylic, Oil and Oilbar on Canvas.

I love warm and sunny summers. You surely get it in Provence in the southern part of France. A few hefty rain showers ensures that the landscape still appears both lush and colorful.
The morning market is an eternal source of inspiration if you are dealing with painting. I'm chasing the yellow colors of the sun. Every home, in my opinion, needs a big yellow painting, which on a gray winters day will act as a reflector of the shady light and transform the gray light into sunshine.
This summer I painted a series of 'yellow market paintings'. My outdoor 'atelier' is located under a large and old lime tree. Please visit 'youtube', where you can see a short film about this - 'outdoor painting by per anders'.
This work is shipped in a crate of wood and is ready to hang as soon it is unpacked. It is framed in a 'narrow strip of raw wood' (scandinavian style) but the painting would look absolutely fine in a highend frame.
Please do not hesitate in asking questions to the curators at Saatchi Art or to me directly.
