This work has been inspired and is after after a photo by © Brett Boardman. It reminds me of those medieval pictures showing a tower in which there is a lady and a man advancing to them. To me this situation is a metaphor of the eternal striving to a desirable state or union with what is distant and in the same time part of us. The lady in the tower is a representation of the anima, the archetype of the eternal feminine in a man's psyche or on some other level of God's wisdom Sophia etc... in any case a desired object that is hard to reach, however always worth it.
