About The Artwork
A three panel screen painted with the three stages of a woman becoming the Medusa. Each panel measures 50x150cm. All three are connected by metal. The first panel represents the stage of innocence, of hopes and dreams, looking towards the future. The second panel represents crisis, a deeply changing experience. The woman turns away from her planned future, towards the Medusa. In the third panel, she arises from the ashes, with new strength and as the Medusa.
