Mega Bloom #2 - Flower Power Sky Blue Painting

I call these Fluffy Flowers - based on my visions of 70's psychedelic fun, seen through my eyes as a young girl living in California. Andy Warhol paintings, vintage 7-Up signs, Peter Maxx paintings everywhere. The soundtrack includes the hum of a VW Squareback and Paul McCartney and Wings. This is a hand painted piece ... I create this by painting directly onto a silkscreen and transferring the image to the paper beneath using a squeegee. What I love about it are the imperfections and unexpected marks that occur by using this process, called a mono print (just one!) I work out of a collective studio in East London called Print Club London. One of a kind, hand painted on a silk screen, then printed on Somerset Satin 300GSM paper and signed at the bottom right hand side. I work out of a screen print studio in East London called The Print Club. I do my best to capture the true colors of this original, but please note that colors may appear differently on your screen. Due to the nature of the painting then the screen print process, there may be slight flaws that are part of the charm of an original, hand made mono print.
