About The Artwork
I wanted to make a painting about the scene of how Nietzsche collapsed and lost his mind, after trying to save a horse from being beaten. I started painting without preparing a sketch or having an idea how I want it to look. In the end I never included a figure of Nietzche, and left the horse standing alone in the background of cypress trees
