Metamorfosi Painting

Luigi Rubino lives and works in Turin. Self-taught, he starte painting seascapes, but very soon the impact with informal painting became stronger. The impression perceived observing his works is a mix of shapes and warm tones that bring his paintings into the world of contemporary art with personality; his instinct shines through each one of his canvases. Besides studying and deepening informal painting, he attended the School of Impressionist Art in Turin. His paintings are inspired by the feelings of the moment, but also thought over for some time and put onto canvas with great energy and impetus. Painting is an expression of great joy for the artist. Critics: Work multicolored canvas are built through calibrated juxtapositions and overlaps of matter on which the artist works with linear strokes now, now swirling, capable of attaining a harmony of the whole. The result is a dazzling explosion of colors, full of throbbing vitality, where great importance is coated by the semantic repertoire of signs drawn by the artist on the painting surface.
