About The Artwork

"The milkmaid art business" Artemy Paramonov's painting is based on the famous composition "Milkmaid" by Jan Vermeer - but all that remains of it is a jug of milk and a window opening with a frame. Instead of a pensive milkmaid contemplating space during a measured work, we see a butcher in a "meat" skirt: in his hand a cleaver, on his face rose-colored glasses-a visor and a blissful smile. The butcher grinds art - and everything comes into play, even the severed ear of van Gogh disappears in a terrible meat grinder. The cat's paw indifferently reaches for a tidbit, and the Munch character in the picture on the wall screams in horror under the impression of the actions of the modern art industry. The world is consumed by the desire to profit from art, turning creativity into a piece of meat, which is stuffed with artificial colors and flavors to pass off kangaroo meat for marble beef, and shrimp for crab. Everything is for sale - even Leonardo da Vinci's" Savior of the world "disappears into the bowels of billionaires' yachts. "Swallowed" and low performance with the participation of unfortunate animals. "Milkmaid of art business" is a cry and protest against the creation of art from nothing, against sucking money out of stupid, not versed in art, but willing to make money on it investors - although they are just not sorry. It is a pity for those who find themselves directly in the meat grinder-creators who are not forced to adapt to new circumstances and participate in the race for a place in the sun. Those who dreamed of creating without bending "under the changing world". Of course, a modern artist cannot do without competent support, PR and promotion, and it is snobbish to deny this, unless the artist has decided to become a hermit and bury himself with his own works - and then only by chance the" children " of the Creator can see the light. But everything needs a measure. In today's consumer society, there is an acute problem with waste disposal - this applies to food, clothing, and many other goods and services, and even a huge amount of information that distracts our attention and clogs our space. And modern "art", which often does not leave a trace in the memory, becomes the same waste - and here, surprisingly, the art business has nothing to do with it. Technological progress has made it possible for any individual to become a Creator if they want and have the means. You have mastered a couple of simple techniques - and voila, you are an artist ready to litter the Universe with your art junk. And that's where the art business will rush to your aid to realize it - if, of course, you convince this business that you have God's spark. And who cares if a spark in a head full of sawdust is flammable?

PARAMONOVISM is a project of a modern young artist Artemy Paramonov: 20 paintings that invite a new look at the everyday reality of Russian folklore and Indian epics, folk traditions and references to religious rites are embodied in elegant still lifes. Bright colors will instantly attract your attention, and compositions where every detail matters will make you look for a new meaning in familiar objects. Sensitive, do not like each other's canvases, daring combinations, bold color, philosophical form... all this PARAMONOVISM. Artemy Paramonov - contemporary young artist, whose style has grown beyond the boundaries of painting. Having received a professional education at the Moscow art school of applied art.Kalinina, Artemiy starts in his work from classical painting with a religious bias, remaining an adherent of decorative art. Developing as a master of ancient Russian painting, the artist not only perfectly studied the heritage of classical masters, but also managed to transform it for himself, bypassing, and sometimes breaking religious dogmas. Reinterpreting the philosophy of two of the world's oldest faiths - Christianity and Hinduism, Artemiy interprets established truths in a new way, penetrates into the very essence of the behavior and motivation of modern man, works with internal psychological blocks in an attempt to free himself from established stereotypes in society-because only a truly free person can create a pure work of art. In the old days, the artist showed himself to be a bridge between the divine and the human world. Today, its task is to take an old idea, transform it and re-present it to a person living in the XXI century. The world is constantly changing, and the perception of artistic reality by modern people is changing , and the artist must clearly navigate this changed world, be one step ahead of his audience, and lead them. Based on a solid Foundation in the form of Orthodox education in painting, Artemy creates a bold, modern, sometimes even pop art that incorporates American pop art and French impressionism, the splinter form and symbolism of ancient Russian art, references to philosophical and religious themes. As for the technological techniques of the master, which are the essence of "paramonovism", Artemy uses primarily acrylic: the basis of the paint layer is formed by dense impressionist fill spots.
