Mirages Painting

I was born and raised in Moscow. As a child, i wanted to become a writer, not an artist. When i grew up, gained life experience, this dream came true. - I'd been studying on the journalistic"s faculty from 1982 till 1987. In 2005 i published a book of children"s stories. But by that time i could already draw something. I started working in this business around 2001. Over time i iimproved as an artist. I have reached an understanding of what the average level, high level and the highest level of skill. Currently as an artist-writer, i can present you my unique works. What can be found in my works of value? It is what never becomes obsolete. It is ideas. How do my works differ from other artworks? I do not make copies and do not create my works from natural forms. My unchanging slogan: "The Idea should be reflected on the canvas of the painting. How do I want the audience to review my works? - I don’t care, how the audience reacts to my works. I met people, who scolded my works and people who praised them. In my opinion, contemporary art has reached its heights, so it’s almost impossible to tell something new. Therefore, the transfer of the Idea into art with its subsequent implementation, I consider not only the best approach to craft, but also the key to such success, which will extend the life of the painting for centuries. What determines the genius of the artist? The number of exhibitions, prizes and awards he received? Or maybe that he masterfully owns techniques? “Both are important, but secondary. When asked me to describe my work, I understand that to some extent this is just nonsense. Yes, I have no prizes and awards, but I know the price of my artworks. Each of my work embodies the IDEA! And this distinguishes it from millions of other works. Of course, many artists sometimes get very good works. But in most cases, the ideas look rather weak and I have not yet met an artist like myself, no matter how modest it sounds. If you know, then please introduce me to him. For example, when I am asked to like a portrait, landscape or still life, I ask myself: "How is this picture different from thousands of other similar pictures? What artistic meaning does it contain? Maybe this portrait reflects personality traits? What is so special about it? Or in a still life some sort of a new sort of flower? .. Yes, but you can also enjoy such works. However, as a rule, artists are squeezed into the framework of what they see.
