About The Artwork
“Mirror of a Beautiful World” is a picture of how I see the world in which I want to live. Without war, without darkness. Asherah is at the center of the plot. Asherah, Hebrew אשרה; "erected"; also "happy"; “rewarder of happiness” - Ugaro-Phoenician and Canaanite goddess, a character in Western Semitic mythology - Asherah - the giver of happiness. In the form of a tree or tree trunk (Heb. אשרה כל עץ) it symbolized the Universe or nature. The Asherat hills on Venus and the asteroid (214) Asher, discovered in 1880, are named in her honor.

I create mixed media paintings using acrylics and modeling pastes, expressing my emotions through texture and color on canvas.
