About The Artwork
The painting is painted on fiberboard, acrylic. Decorated in an antique window with a cast iron latch, the mechanism works. The window with the Odessa history is 150 years old from the street Sofievskaya 5. The window is impregnated with deeply penetrating primers, painted and varnished. This picture is from the series “The Second Life of Odessa Heritage ... Old windows disappear, nobody restores them. This is a historical legacy and is being replaced by plastic. I decided to decorate the paintings in window frames, thus preserving the memory of the windows for posterity. The windows were made as works of art, all the profiles were planed by hand by the hands of people. Pictures in the interior look very unusual.
