More Bass More Boom More Bottom Painting

Instead of picture making I've decided to describe my visual ideas in letter form. I'm inspired by Ed Ruscha & Christopher Wool and Prince if you make me name any of the usual suspects. With that said the subject matter is all me. The raised letters has more depth than flat letters and I'm driven towards that drama visually. Stylistically I love run on sentences however not dribbling soliloquys. I'm interested in groups of words as a narrative in some direct manner. I want you to see something different by the way I talk, the way I walk and by the way I weave my stories. Each is a category that I've investigated exhaustively. This one is an accumulation of music album titles that I've strung together into my own word-of-mouth poetry dialogue. The code of text and textured patina have a historically strong and elegant design that appeals to my eye and sense of story-telling.
