A lovely new morning at the sea - the amazing colors of a new day dawning with all the promises and chances that lie ahead... the night being over and the beautiful first light already emerging through the clouds, promising, hopeful, peaceful. This is a mixed media painting of light, of hope, of new beginnings and of trust that the outcome will be always good in the end. Gouache, Acrylic, Oil, Ink and Oilpastels on gallery wrapped Canvas. 80x80xcm. Signed on the back, comes with Certificate of Authenticity. Germany
Based in Germany, Gesa Reuter’s artistic practice started in 1996. She has since studied the techniques of the old Dutch masters, layering selfmade gouache, egg tempera and sometimes oil to build her paintings with different layers of paint from thin to thick. Recently she has discovered the power of watercolours and ink in her work, enjoying the way the watery materials leave marks and traces to describe her inner feelings and emotions. Rather than painting an accurate visual representation of a landscape, she prefers to use the power of memory; her artworks are an expression of her feelings and emotions in the moment of experiencing the landscape." (Inside Artists, Issue 9, Summer 2017) So far, her works have been exhibited in Germany and Europe, mainly sold to private collectors in Germany, U.S.A., UK, NL, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, to architects, small companies, private medical and psychological practices. In public collection of Amateras Foundation, Bulgaria, NHS England and Kunsthaus Stove, Germany.
