About The Artwork
The Mother Goddess is the goddess of Life and Death, above all. The connection between birth and withering is inseparable, as a prerequisite for harmony in the universe. It was the Mother Goddess that many peoples compared with the World Tree, and therefore with the Universe itself. Purely emotionally, I feel the incredible power of this image. It is as if all the energy of existence is concentrated in it, all the knowledge that is beyond our comprehension. "Mother Goddess" was created on 200 g/m2 watercolor paper. There is an author's signature on the front side, as well as a signature on the back

For me, drawing is a way to find myself and my sense of the world, to express a brief moment of emotion and the image that it evoked. I love mythology, fairy tales - a lot of my paintings' plots are taken from folklore. But folklore is always side by side with self-discovery and exploring the world. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with inner emotions and admired by the world so much that I think I will start to suffocate! And drawing allows me to vent this magic raging in my chest, in my eyes, in all my body.
