About The Artwork
It's taken me a bit longer than I wanted posting this new work, but I needed to know if I had what I wanted ready so as to continue uploading my progression from my 2016 photo and 2018 oil ( both posted here at Saatchi Art ). In addition to this new abstracted watercolor version of the mountain cabin morning scene my wife and I woke to nearly a decade ago in Stowe Vermont, my intent is to follow with a detail crop posting from this painting ( white printed border mat included ), then upload a new nearly finished 16x20 inch fully abstracted acrylic version of my original 2018 oil. It's an interesting instructional progression to myself, and hopefully an interesting visual progression for you the viewer. The watercolor presented today was via watercolor brush pens, one of which is a water pen, which can make painting even more interesting!

032624 update - My wife and I are blessed to have found a new address here in Austin that'll keep us close to our youngest grandchild as the start of middle school begins later this year in August.
