This work was inspired by a desire to savor each day no matter how menial. It started as a grid of 30 rectangles. Each rectangle was filled in over the course of a month. Once these rectangles were filled, abstract shapes were created as a final layer. Some are transparent so you can see the rectangular base layer and some are opaque, completely covering up the grid, representing that feeling in life where the days seem to blur together.
