About The Artwork
Limited Edition print of original artwork. The portrait is inspired by the work of fashion designer Jacquemus. The first layer of this portrait is made in a washed ink technique. The water is applied first, after which the ink finds its way. I love this unpredictable way of painting, it's like a dance of the brush strokes with the water. The outfit and the details are done with gouache, watercolour pencils and ink marker. This artwork is printed on Hahnmühle Museum Etching acid free fine art paper.

From an extensive portrait collection to commissioned work, sculptures and live painting events, her diverse portfolio reflects her creativity and versatility. Inspired by light, movement and colour, Charlotte continues to evolve her painterly aesthetic. Starting her painting career as a graduate from the Royal Academy, The Hague, she has since honed her craft through various courses such as Lighting Design and Scenography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Antwerp.
