Mushy #2 Painting

We are Arte Del CaSt, a creative duo founded by Carmela Chiara Imbrogiano and Stefano Marco Slomma. Through Arte Del CaSt, we have created a new artistic identity in which we merge our mutual influences and characteristics. Given our deep connection with nature, we have chosen to paint immersed in the countryside, surrounded by its scents and the nuances of landscapes, in the dawn frost and the vibrant colors of sunsets. The setting for our creations is a farmhouse surrounded by green spaces where we can express ourselves freely and in touch with our emotions. We experiment with colors, shapes, textures, materials, and contrasts. Each piece is an invitation to explore the world of abstraction and to be carried away by the beauty of the unconventional. Every color is chosen carefully for its ability to convey emotions and passion. We aim to create bold and vivid color combinations, offering a visual experience that engages and activates the imagination of the observer. We experiment with a variety of materials and techniques to create layers of texture, generating tactile contrast as well as visual. Geometric shapes, with their precision and symmetry, add an element of order and structure, balancing the boldness of the colors. Contrast is our source of inspiration. We are fascinated by the interplay of lights and shadows, matte and glossy colors, smooth and irregular surfaces, order and chaos. The various combinations create a visual richness that adds vitality and dynamism to our creations. Matte areas capture light, while glossy ones add reflections that change with the viewing angle.
