About The Artwork
.The work entitled "rhythm of the heart" or heartbeat illustrates the inner feelings that we experience when listening to reggae music. Some believe that the word reggae comes from the word "regular", because of the steady rhythm. Still others claim that it comes from the Latin term "for the king", as they say that real reggae music honors the god Jah, the king of the sky. Fluorescent colors, strong shades of green, yellow, orange, pink are emphasized in this picture. Blue, cool shades down to black represent the universe, a black hole or an infinite depth to our ear of inaudible frequencies. The phosphorescent color, which glows in the dark, adds to the picture a greater meaning of space, music and inner feeling in general. The work was created in 2022. It is an abstract painting, a unique painting manuscript that takes the viewer into the mysterious world of music, space, internal rhythm, vibrations, both in daylight and in the dark.

I was born on 18/12/1978 in Pakrac (Cr). I am engaged in painting, sculpture, illustration, mosaic and restoration work. Painting as a natural gift, part of me, my life, "this is my mission". My painting world is diverse. Every new picture is a new challenge for me. I don't follow trends, I don't follow guidelines, I don't have a role model. I praise other works if they touch me, regardless of who the author is. I'm still learning. I follow my inner voice. The greatest achievement is when you don't focus on other authors and pictures. You have to create your own vision, a painting manuscript that becomes even more recognizable over the years. I prefer and above all express myself with oil paints on canvas. My favorite subjects are portraits and caricatures. I studied painting in Italy. I live and create in Nova Gorica.
