"My hair is curled by the wind, my face painted by the sun" ("A mí me riza el viento, a mí me pinta el sol") Painting

Born during a beautiful August in the small surfing town of Rincon, Puerto Rico. Currently lives and works in a city in the northwestern shore where, to quote the famous Puerto Rican poet Jose de Diego "Even the rocks sing" - Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Painting and drawing since very early childhood until his young adult years, Alexander nevertheless embarked on a totally different mission in pursuit of science, mathematics, and engineering. After almost having forgotten his true calling and working for various corporations he later recalled through a spiritual breakthrough his relationship with himself and Art. "Leaping and diving head on, smashing through with a lyrical "bellyflop" I embraced my true talent and passion. My artwork is a portrayal of the transformation of physicality into an energetically infused view, (or vice versa) where concepts such as chaos, fragmentation, light, boundaries, etc., play on the juxtaposition of one another.
