I haven't picked up a paint brush in about four years but I had the urge to paint and this time using acrylic paints. It is new for me because I've never enjoyed acrylic but this time around I really felt the paint and the application became easy. This piece expresses my emotions and feelings at the time. I want people to see the hint of sadness mixed with hope.

I'm a freelance artist/illustrator out of Cleveland, Oh. I've spent the last 8 years of my life working as an IT professional and decided to pursue my art full time late 2016. I recently published the first volume, Shrooms and Blooms, in a series of coloring books in March. My preferred mediums to work with are charcoal, oil paints, pastels and photography.
