NEVERLAND Painting

Hi, I'm Salvatore Petrucino, aka Totò. I am a great lover of art. In fact, I believe that art is a great means of communication, it helps to feel good and transmits great energy both to those who create it and to those who admire it. Art enriches the environments where we live making them more serene and shining, it positively influences our mood making us happier. Since I started painting more than 10 years ago, my way of looking at things has changed, I am more observant and attentive to details. For me, art is an outlet through which I express my emotions. In my paintings inspired mostly by a surreal-metaphysical style, we find suggestive plays of shadows with which I try to express my ideas, my moods and my deepest feelings: the shadows, absolute protagonists of my works,, let dreams, emotions and daily fears emerge. Chess, another dominant theme of my works, merging with the shadows to create imaginative images that aim to communicate a pure stimulus to the sensitivity of those who '' read '' my paintings.
