About The Artwork
Dear friends, I’m pleased to present you a new painting. The painting is based on a photo of a beautiful girl who lives in Toronto and is often by the sea. When I saw the photo, I immediately realised that this was the ideal option for the future picture. And in full inspiration I got down to work. This picture was written with great pleasure and in one breath, with thoughts about the speedy peace comes, the beauty of nature, the strength of spirit and, of course, the hope. This picture is painted in the technique of multilayer painting with glazing. Using palette knife and brushes. The sides of the painting are also covered with oil, and are a continuation of the plot. The painting does not require a frame.It is also covered with acrylic-pistachio varnish and there are hooks on the front side in order to immediately hang it on a suitable wall. Using high-quality paints and canvases, I get not only an excellent result, but also great pleasure from the process. And I'm happy that from the result, others are happy. My name is Ekaterina. I am an artist now, but I didn’t start out that way. I loved drawing from an early age, so in addition to attending regular school during the day, I also went to art school in the evenings. After finishing school, I went to college to study medicine, and then pursued higher education in this field because I wanted to help people. After 8 years of working in the medical field, I decided to take art seriously because I realized that I couldn’t go on without it. The birth of my children also had a significant impact on this responsible step. I completely immersed myself in the study of oil painting, and have been doing what I love for 7 years now. Each oil painting fills me with a huge flow of energy and a desire to show how beautiful our world is. Unfortunately, with the beginning of the war in Ukraine, much has changed in my life, as well as in the lives of others.
