About The Artwork

Once, while traveling along the Himalayan paths of Nepal, I met a little girl of about 4 years old who was walking towards her grandmother and brother. When she saw us, she folded her little palms and said in a thin childish voice - "Namaste", which in translation from Sanskrit means "I bow before the divine in you" or "The divine in me welcomes the divine in you." In those places, it is customary to greet everyone who meets on the way, and "namaste" means greeting. But there was such purity and sincerity in greeting this child that I was very moved by it. Our company and I remembered this girl for a long time, and when I returned home, I decided to paint her portrait with folded palms against the background of the Himalayan mountains and rhododendrons. This picture is called "Namaste". the picture is painted in oil on linen canvas, covered with a protective layer of varnish.

I was born and raised in St. Petersburg. Since childhood, drawing was my passion, but daily gymnastics classes did not allow me to do art school. In her free time from studies and sports, she took up paints and painted.       Graduated from St. Petersburg University of Economics and Management, Faculty of Law. But the passion for painting still won and I began to learn to draw. After the institute, she took private painting lessons from teachers from the Stieglitz Academy, and later studied with the famous artist-academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Roman Lyapin.       From my youth, I was worried about the spiritual component of any work. And I really liked to plunge into that state of the creative flow, when you seem to disappear, and this flow creates through you, then you don’t think about how to convey a plot, but intuitively choose colors and the picture is born as if by itself. At such moments of inspiration, I am overwhelmed with feelings of love, beauty, harmony, and all this I want to convey to the canvas.      My work was constantly accompanied by a spiritual search. I traveled a lot to the sacred places of the planet in search of knowledge, where I studied with various spiritual mentors, lived in the monasteries of Nepal, Tibet, India and studied the culture of these countries. All this led to an internal transformation and awareness of the unity of everything. The feeling of love for the whole world and the awareness of the divine nature in everything led to the fact that I wanted to express this feeling through colors. Then I finally realized my calling - to share positive through my paintings. After all, everyone knows that the artist through paints conveys his inner state, and the emotions inherent in the picture are subconsciously read by those who look at them. Therefore, my paintings may seem too positive and bright for someone, but I would so like to share my positive through the paintings with those who will look at them. :)
